I am new here, and I designed a quadcopter frame similar to that of carboncore( I just took the idea of the top GPS mount from it), I want you guys to test that frame and let me know how it works, its designed for DYS 5208 motors, as they offer great thrust and are cheap. (35-40$). Motor mounts can be changed , its not a problem.
The frame is made for 2.5mm thick material ( high density wood, glass fiber or carbon fiber).
I got cut it on acrylic(fragile) to just see how it fits in, and there were some errors which are now fixed. Anhang anzeigen design1.dxf
Some key points->
1) it fits in tarot 650/680/680pro's landing gear.
2) big center part allowing more space
3) professional look
4)Can be modified into hexa/octo easily.
5) space for battery mount
6)gimbal mount( same like tarot 650/680)
7) great for aerial photography/videography
