Also, ich versuch das mal so zu kopieren wie ich das gefunden habe bei meinen allabendlichen "Lektüren". wer des englishen mächtig ist dürfte keine Probleme haben, wer nicht, hmm... auch irgendwie nicht

"Anyone know what the A-B switch on these receivers does? I can't find any instructions online anywhere."

LawMate Rx Channel Settings
Many customers asked for the functionality of the A-B switch on the side of the RX1260 and RX2460 recievers. We have not found the answer to this question on any of the forums or available documentation, so we asked the manufacuter. Here is the answer:
"In order to let our customer use more channel, so we made A, B switch, then the customer can choose between the two groups:
...........................CH. 1... CH. 2... CH. 3.... CH. 4... CH. 5... CH. 6.... CH. 7.... CH. 8
RX-1260 (group A) 1080----1120----1160----1100----1140----1180
RX-1260 (group B) 1080----1120----1160----1200----1010----1040----1240----1280
RX-2460 (group A) 2413----2432----2451----2470
RX-2460 (group B) 2410----2430----2450----2470----2370----2390----2490----2510

Note that the Rx switches in the up position are off...the selected Channel switch must be down to be on..! So, as an example, for 2510 mHz (2.51 gHz), the A-B switch is set to "B" and Channel 8 switch is "down"."

"My LawMate 1w 2.4 gHz Tx (new) had no strain relief on the video wire and it was disconnected when I got it.....so, it went back and just returned the other day. I had never even tried it so was searching the Web for the answer (which I was looking for also) and came up with the reply from Cpt. Picard as shown above.....
'Course, I thought it was the gospel....!!
With further investigation ( I'm looking for another RX-2460CK Rx for a Diversity system) and found this bit of info on the RangeVideo site:
Features: (RX-2460CK)
- 2.4GHz audio/video receiver
- Stable 8 channel operation ( PLL)
- Compatible with our 500 and 1000 mW 2.4GHz transmitters
- Detachable - swivel SMA antenna
- Anodized aluminum finish
- A/B bogus switch for your switching pleasure - it does not do anything
channel frequencies:
CH1 2410 MHz
CH2 2430 MHz
CH3 2450 MHz
CH4 2470 MHz
CH5 2370 MHz
CH6 2390 MHz
CH7 2490 MHz
CH8 2510 MHz
So, tonight I connected the system together (the Tx works!!) and tried the Tx switch positions in concert with the Rx switch positions and, indeed, the A/B switch does nothing...!! All the channels worked with the A/B switch in either position.
And, as a bonus, I discovered that the little round "button" on the back edge, beside the antenna, is a pull-out stylus for changing frequencies.....such a deal!"

"Ha! That's really funny because on mine the receiver ONLY works with the switch on A (for channel 8). If I flip it to B, the image goes crazy."
Vollkommen FREIE Kurzübersetzung:
Was macht der A/B Switch?
1-4 = A 5-8 = B
