okay and wich esc do you use ? 20A ?
edit : Yup is possible indeed
May 21 update - sold out, next batch ETA June 2, more info as we get it
Hardware update - continously looking to make the little things even better, Cobra motors from Rotorgeeks now include a supplemental hardware bag containing (4) Hex head M3x5 stainless steel motor mount screws and (1) standard prop nut. We like the sure grip of hex head screws over Philips 'star' head and prefer using the standard nut for standard rotating props as it's easier to remove and locknuts are typically only needed on the reverse rotation. As with all of our little improvements, customers who previously purchased Cobra motors can request them free on their next order.
4S Update - we have had tremendous success using these motors on 4S with the proper ESCs. The result is incredible thrust results and low current requirements, allowing you to run very lightweight 12A ESCs. Please note that the selection of ESC is critical to running without synch problems.
Cobra has updated the 2204 once again, this time with an integrated prop adapter. Otherwise, the motor is identical to the previous edition. The 1960kv version is suited for 3S or 4S operation with 5" or 6" props. If you're after longer flight times, the lower kv motor combined with 6x3 prop runs the same thrust more efficiently than a 5x4 on a 2300kv motor. If you're after the absolute limits of thrust, running 4S gets you there.
Cobra Brushless Motors offer performance and value for Sport Flyers and Competition pilots alike. They are built from high quality components, and are designed to give years of top-level performance. All Cobra Motors are shipped in a custom designed package that features protective foam on all sides, with separate compartments to protect the motor and accessory pack.
The Cobra 2204 series motors have a 3.0mm shaft for extra strength, as well as oversize bearings to support the shaft and provide a long life. The stators are made with 0.20mm laminations for maximum efficiency and minimum Eddy Current losses. Silicone motor wiring extends motor leads by 11cm. The extensions are 20AWG silicone wire and can be cut and soldered at any point. We don't recommend cutting further back than the connection to the motor winding leads unless you know what you're doing with respect to removing enamel from the wire. The motors have standard 16x19 M3 mounting threads and fit most miniquad frames.
Included with every Cobra 2204 Series Motor is a complete accessory package containing:
● Four M3x6mm motor mount Screws + spacing washers
● 5mm integrated prop adapter with nylon locknut
